Wigginton Grassshoppers U15s won the NRCFA County Cup beating Marton FC (Middlesbrough) 2-0 at NRCFA Headquarters.
This is the first time any Junior team in York has ever won the County Cup.

Welcome to Wigginton Grasshoppers Football Club
Wigginton Grasshoppers is a community football club which was established in 1982. We aim to serve the community to provide facilities and a learning environment to develop and encourage all ages of the community to play football.
We are a well established club which welcomes new players, coaches and volunteers to help the club to achieve its goals.
Grasshoppers 30th Anniversary
In July the club celebrates the 30th anniversary of being founded by our present club President John Jeffery. To mark this celebration we are hosting an Anniversary Dinner at Fairfield Manor on Sat 7 July at 7pm. All past and present players, parents, committee members are invited to attend to share your memories and stories of your time with the Grasshoppers.
